President Jochen Klingelhoefer email	"Hello and welcome to the committee page of the Oriel MCR website. The role of the committee is to administer the running of the common room and to attend to the needs of the MCR as a community. Frequently, I and others on the committee present the views of the graduate body in Oriel to the rest of college and ensure that our interests are being served. We have a very active social life here in Oriel with many events such as guest dinners, cocktail parties and exchange dinners with other MCRs forming part of the regular social calendar. Oriel is a fantastic place both to study and to meet people from diverse backgrounds and subject groups. Secretary & Vice–President Linda Laatikainen email	Hi, I'm Linda. My main resposibility is to take minutes during MCR and college meetings. I also represent the MCR at college and university-wide meetings if Mr. President is busy. Additionally, I organize MCR events such as cinema trips and distribute lockers keys to graduates not living on Oriel main site. Feel free to approach me with any MCR-related issues!
Treasurer Henri P. Ehrke email	I'm Henri the Treasurer of the Oriel MCR. My position requires that I take care of the accounts. That means I have to compile the numbers for the committee so that they know which activities are affordable for us. Additionally I deal with the college bursar and finally I organize the payment of the consumable such as coffee and bar utilities.
Social Secretary Jennifer Hauschild email	Hiya, I'm Jen and I am the person in charge of all things fun, from exchange dinners and guest nights to freshers' week and generally everything that serves the purpose of rubbing in everyone's face just how marvellous Oriel College is! If you feel underthrilled and want to make suggestions about what the Oriel MCR should be getting up to, or even have a friend at a different college who feels deprived of the pleasure of hosting an exchange with Oriel, e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.

Sports Rep Salih Solomon email	Hi I'm Salih, a sport-loving South African who also happens to be your MCR sports representative. This does not mean that I will be exercising on your behalf but rather that I will keep you posted on the various sporting events in and around Oxford, and encouraging you to get out and active too. This includes how you can get involved with an Oriel College team, or simply go support an Oriel team There's plenty going on whether it's darts, rugby, squash, cricket, crocquet, sul ki do, walking, rock-climbing, diving, tennis, running, rowing, basketball, football...you get the point! So be bold, and meet the challenge, Oxford is more than prim and proper sub fusc and has a decidely less neat and sweaty aspect to it too.
Environmental Officer Ben Carmichael email	I'm Ben Carmichael, the Oriel MCR Environmental Officer. Throughout the year, I plan to promote a few environmental initiatives. First, I plan to continue the work initiated in the past two years to make Oriel College carbon neutral. Secondly, I plan to work on integrating recycling more fully into the college. And finally, I hope to improve Oriel's food sourcing. That includes local, organic meats and produce, as well as organic limes for your cocktails, and low carbon beer for the MCR. Male Welfare Officer Tom Foster email	"Hello, I’m your Male Welfare Officer and I do exactly what it says on the tin. If you have any concerns please do get in touch at any time. Female Welfare Officer Rebecca Chodroff email	Hiya- I'm your Female Welfare Officer and I will try my best to make sure all of you are as happy and healthy as possible. I'm always here to lend a friendly ear, so please feel free to get in touch if you have any concerns or just want to talk.
4th Year Representative Mary Clements email	Hi, I'm Mary and I'm the fourth year rep for the Oriel MCR. My purpose is to ensure that the transition into MCR life for the 4th year undergraduates is a smooth one. This means that I let the fourth years know what's happening and how to get involved as well as reporting back to the MCR and issues that concern the 4th years. If you have any queries or ideas feel free to contact me by email or pidge and I pass them on to the comittee for you.
Overseas Rep Dennis Lehmkuhl email	Hi, I'm Dennis, the Overseas/International Rep of the Oriel MCR, and I'm here to help all International students to feel as comfortable as possible in this strange city. If you want to know how to open a bank account as a non-British student, where to find the cheapest supermarket or English courses, or if you just want to moan about all the native speakers speaking so ridiculously quick English - just drop me a line, and I will do what I can to help. And of course, if you ever feel discriminated against because of being an International student, tell me instantly, and I will not rest until it is as certain as possible that it will not happen again.
Computing Officer Hwasung Mars Lee email	I take care of computer related issues of the MCR. Most of the time I look after this website, and also help the MCR members with IT related problems. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me directly or just drop an email.
JMH Rep Emma Shepheard-Walwyn Emma Shepheard-Walwyn's email	Hi, I'm Emma and I am one of the JMH reps. I am basically here to help Elizabeth (the Junior Dean) with any major (or minor) issues people may have whilst living down at JMH. If you are living in JMH and have any problems or there are things that you are not happy with, then please feel free to come and tell me and I'll see what I can do.
